Competitors will fire NRA/CMP service or match files in the standing, sitting/kneeling and prone positions.  The entire match is shot at 200 & 300 yards and consists of 80 shots for record (plus sighting shots).  This match will use NRA approved highpower rifle targets.

This is an open match, available to safe shooters.  Previous match experience is highly recommended, but is not mandatory.  A current classification will suffice as previous match experience (NRA/CMP classification card, distinguished rifleman, etc.) or a rifle-qualified CRPC member status.  Shooters with no previous match experience are welcome, but will be supervised on the firing line and be asked to show proficiency prior to the match.  Every attempt will be made to assist & coach new shooters, but you must have at least a 100yd zero on your rifle prior to showing up for the match.

COURSE OF FIRE

Stage 1 – Slow fire standing.  2 sighting shots + 20 rounds fired in a time limit of 22 minutes.  200 yds

Stage 2 – Rapid fire sitting.  2 sighting shots + 20 rounds fired in a time limit of 60 seconds (2x 10). 200 yds

Stage 3 – Rapid fire prone.  2 sighting shots + 20 rounds fired in a time limit of 70 seconds (2x 10). 300yds

Stage 3 – Slow fire prone.  2 sighting shots + 20 rounds fired in a time limit of 22 minutes.  300 yds, simulated 600 yds

Match fees are $20 per competitor and $10 for junior shooters

Para PPC is a combat style competition where competitors are given par times to shoot increments of 6 rounds from the holster. 4 different distances and 7 different shooting positions makes for a challenging and fun afternoon. Three separate matches are held: duty gun, any gun and .22 of 72 rounds each. Mandatory reloads after 6 rounds are required. Duty/any guns must have open iron sights and barrels not exceeding 6 inches….22 handguns must not exceed 6-7/8 inches. Sign in starts at 12:30 and first shots are at 1:30 pm. Target shall be the steel 7 ft. X 5 ft. Buffalo at a range of 300 yards. Buffalo Gun Class = Caliber 38-55 or larger, open sights Lever Action Class = any rimmed case cartridge with a lead or hunting bullet, open sights

Course of Fire: 20 shots standing only. No shooting coats or slings. Entrance fee shall be $10.00. Proceeds shall go to the club.

The equipment and conduct rules for the match will conform to the NRA High Power Rules, section 22, for F Class Matches. These matches usually consist of 3 targets of 20 rounds each shot from the prone position.
